More than easing tension — massage that helps you move better.

What to expect

Targeted, hands-on, tailored to you.

We start by understanding what's going on and what you'd like from the session. From there, a blend of soft-tissue techniques works to release tension, ease restriction and support how your body moves — with practical advice to help the benefit last.

  • A short assessment, so treatment targets the right thing
  • Deep-tissue and myofascial techniques, worked to your comfort
  • Pressure always guided by you — never "no pain, no gain"
  • Simple stretches and advice to carry the benefit home
  • Informed throughout by a physiotherapist's eye for movement

Why here

Massage with a physiotherapist's understanding.

Not just a rub-down

Every treatment is informed by a full physiotherapy qualification and years of myofascial training. The work is targeted — reading how your body actually moves, rather than simply working wherever it happens to feel sore.

Part of a bigger picture

Because I also teach movement and treat as a physiotherapist, massage can slot into a wider plan — easing tension today while building the strength and mobility that stops it returning. And if something needs more than massage, I'll tell you.

Good to know

Your questions, answered.

Do I need to be sporty?

Not at all. Sports massage suits anyone carrying muscular tension — runners and gym-goers, yes, but just as much desk-workers, parents and anyone feeling tight or achy. It's about how your body feels, not what sport you play.

Will it hurt?

It shouldn't. Deeper work can feel intense in places, but you're always in control of the pressure — we work within your comfort, never past it. Do say if anything's too much and we'll ease off.

What do I wear, and what happens?

Wear comfortable underwear; towels keep you covered throughout, with only the area being worked on uncovered at any time. We'll talk through what you'd like from the session before we begin.

How is this different from physiotherapy?

Massage is hands-on soft-tissue treatment; physiotherapy is a fuller assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation of an injury or condition. Not sure which you need? Just ask and I'll help you choose.

How often should I come?

It depends on what you're dealing with — anything from a one-off before an event to regular maintenance. We'll work out a rhythm that suits your body and your goals.

"Massage that does more than ease the ache — it helps you move well, and stay that way."
