55 minThe foundation class — Pilates, ballet and conditioning at the barre, set to 124–135bpm. The best place to start.
Gentle–moderateSmall, supportive classes that build real strength — adapted to your body, never one-size-fits-all.
Open weekly classes drawing on Pilates, dance-inspired movement and anatomy-led training. Precise, flowing and genuinely mixed-ability — so you can challenge yourself safely, at your own pace.
These are open classes — which simply means everyone's welcome, up to the size of the room. Whatever your age, history or starting point, you'll find a small, friendly group and a class that flexes around you.
Most of the class happens at the barre — using it for balance and support while you move through small, controlled exercises set to music. You'll use light hand weights, Pilates balls and resistance bands, and the longer sessions finish with a core mat sequence on the floor.

A handful of class styles, from grounding and gentle to brisk and energising. New to it all? Start with BarreConcept Technique or a Floor-Barre class.
The foundation class — Pilates, ballet and conditioning at the barre, set to 124–135bpm. The best place to start.
Gentle–moderateA mat-based blend of Pilates and ballet at 125–130bpm, focused on deep core strength and control.
Moderate · matA livelier, heart-raising barre class at 130–140bpm. Lovely once you've found your feet, or for a returning body.
EnergisingFlowing, roller-based movement that releases and strengthens at once — an energising but gentle morning reset.
Gentle · restorativeA dynamic, hip-focused sequence that progresses week to week — building mobility and strength where it counts.
ModerateSculpt and strengthen with the resistance ring — a satisfying full-body class, available live online.
Moderate · onlineFascia is the body's connective web — a continuous layer of tissue that wraps around every muscle and joint, and one of our richest sensory organs, constantly telling the brain how we're moving. Healthy, springy fascia helps you move freely and without strain; stiff, "stuck" fascia does the opposite. Amanda trained with FAMO in movement that keeps this tissue healthy and responsive. In plain terms: you leave moving more freely, not just more tired.
Barre classes are mainly choreography performed at the barre, with some floor work; the Pilates classes are mat-based. In both, your own body is the load — which is harder than it sounds, and builds the control, coordination and sense of where your body is in space that carries directly into everyday life. Reformer Pilates sessions are coming soon, designed for those already familiar with the mat repertoire.

None at all. Classes are genuinely mixed-ability and every exercise can be adapted up or down on the day, so you can start exactly where you are — whether that's your first ever class or your return after a long break.
Comfortable clothes you can move in, and grippy socks or bare feet. Bring a water bottle; mats and small equipment are provided in the studio. For online classes, a mat and a little floor space is all you need.
It simply means anyone can book in, up to the size of the room — no membership, no commitment, no being slotted into a "level". You're welcome to come as often or as rarely as suits you.
Very possibly, and this is where the physio background matters. Amanda is a qualified physiotherapist, so movement can be adapted around most conditions. Do mention anything relevant before class so she can look after you properly — and check with your GP if you're unsure.
Yes — several classes run live online each week, so you can take part from home with the same guidance. You'll find them in the timetable above marked "Online".
